Ken Shigley has practiced law in Georgia since 1977, and for 25 years in metro Atlanta. He has litigated serious personal injury, wrongful death, insurance coverage and trucking cases statewide in every part of Georgia from the mountains to the sea.

After long service in many capacities, Mr. Shigley is slated to serve as president of the State Bar of Georgia in 2011-12. He has served as chair of the Tort & Insurance Practice Section of the Georgia Bar, chair of the Georgia Insurance Law Institute, and chair of the Southeastern Motor Carrier Liability Institute. At the national level he is a board member of the Interstate Trucking Litigation Group and the Association of Plaintiffs' Interstate Trucking Lawyers of America, and has spoken at continuing legal education programs on trucking litigation from coast to coast.
